Not sure what station you're talking about. CBS Radio... The only station there with mixshows is 102 Jamz...
102 Jamz DJ's are pretty good if it's Chino, Nasty, Jimmy Jamz, or Caesar. However, they play the same songs almost every hour they switch DJ's Fri. & Sat. nights. I think they played Lil' Wayne like 6 times in 4 hours last week. They seem to like doing backspins alot, even on "Back In The Day Buffet" at noon.
Andy Kovacs & DJ X rocks it on Fri & Sat nights.
Sunday night Power Mixtape on 95.3 is pretty good. Last Sunday, some of it was overmodulated & distorted, but Quez has enough skills to cover Prostyle well.
Star 94.5 mixers has a few train wrecks here & there Saturday nights. But you gotta give it to them. They're beatmixing 70's R&B & Funk when they didn't have metronomes, so mixing is tougher. I've beatmixed The Beatles, Turtles, & other oldes songs before. You've got to be constantly on the pitch control.
Mega 98.1's DJ Leony is good on Friday night.
Some DJ's on WPRK 91.5 are awesome, especially Friday nights. I'm on there sometimes, like this Friday night @ 1am. ;D
I think I covered all the mixshows here in Orlando. Not so much. Mixshows are the main reason why I stay tuned in. Otherwise, I skip all over the place & never lock onto any station.
