orlando radio 2009

so guys. what do you think is up for 2009 in radio? so far, i have no ideas as of yet. the only thing that has happened so far is cindacation moves and stuff. no big change except bubba came to whtq. i really would like to see some true oldies back on AM but a local version. i really miss that. it was just real cool hearing oldies on am... anyway, i'm dreaming again... sorry. anyway, feel free to leave predictions. thanks. later.

Hello Austin, I know what your saying. There is a station thats playing oldies on AM, you have to tune into 840 AM They are playing some real good stuff. On Sundays from 1 to 4pm they have a DJ thats playing some rare 50s early 60s music. Very good show commerical free. The station is a daytimer but the programing swtich to oldies was a plus for them. Not sure where you are but, they are over here by me in Titusville.
Hope this helps some, other than WPGS, there is not many other stations playing oldies. Shame.

I noticed recently that WLOQ "Smooth Jazz 103.1" is now "Smooth 103.1". They just dropped the "Jazz". Their playlist is a 1-Smooth Jazz 2-Lite AC. Predictable to me, but I still like to listen to it.

oh yea...that's how all of corporate radio is going...syndi...and no jock formats, like Jack-FM....the big wigs need to make their millions while the working guy has to pay for their bad decisions....kinda like the government bailout.... ::)
