1990-(October 29)-Metro Traffic Services' Erica Lee joins the "MIX 105.1" morning show.
1991-(January 3)-Scott McKenzie is named the new morning show host. He is first introduced to his newscaster, Erica Lee. This is the beginning of the "Scott and Erica Show".
"Scott & Erica" did indeed start in January 1991, but Scott McKenzie was at the station earlier than that.
From Scott's bio page on your website...

"In 1989, Scott and Fran headed to WXGT-FM 92.3 in Columbus, Ohio. Then Scott spent a year at WZOU-FM 94.5 in Boston, then on to Orlando and WOMX-FM 105.1. Scott spent his first month on the morning show with long-time Orlando personality Alan Spector. Then on October 29, 1990, Metro Traffic Services' Erica Lee joined the "MIX 105.1" morning show as the newscaster. On January 3, 1991 Scott McKenzie was named the new morning show host, with then newscaster, Erica Lee."
Scott McKenzie actually replaced their first morning host, Mike Elliot. Mix's first morning show was called "Mike In The Morning," and featured Mike Elliott and Alan Spector. When Elliott left, that's when they made Alan Spector the main morning guy, renamed the show "Mix In The Morning," and brought in Scott McKenzie as his sidekick. And then Erica was the last piece of the puzzle as their newscaster.
I was listening every day back then... LOVED that station, really enjoyed Mike Elliott, and was sad to see him go. Was never wild about Alan Spector, but I liked Scott McKenzie from the word "go," and it didn't take long for me to start liking Erica Lee too when she entered the picture later. When they dumped Spector and promoted Erica from newscaster to co-host, I was thrilled.
