Ok...who wants to sell me one?

I've lost countless ebay auctions because I don't have the time to sit around and do the final 30 second bidding wars. Beautiful Tektronix 2 channel unit went for like $250...damnit.
______________

I got mine for $20 at a hamfest. It's not your latest razzle-dazzle digital model, but it gets the job done.

Lucky you!

It's an early HP. I used Tektronix exclusively in TV and have
a very simple one at the radio station these days (it's kinda
old) but I also got my hands on two HP scopes over the years.
Even though I once worked for Tek, I gotta say the HP scopes
stomped all over 'em! Far more rugged, long-lasting, and there
was no notable difference in features or accuracy.

100mhz bandwidth and at least 2 channels. Just for simple transmitter calibration type of stuff...and to check the phase on the damn ac power.
______________

Aren't there reasonably-priced services/bots that'll automatically handle the last-second bidding for you? I don't usually advocate such things, but when you're talking about bidding $500 on an item that might normally go for $5000...

I've gotten some great spec-an's (like $12k-valued for $1000) off eBay here and there.

I prefer to bid myself...and I've never lost an auction when I'm around.

Couldn't wait any longer so I sat around and grabbed a Tektronix 2445A off of ebay.
______________
