Does WING have anyone running board for OSU games or is it all automated. Tons of dead air on breaks last night. Does the FCC ever monitor this kind of crap?
The F.C.C. does not monitor or care about "dead air" in football games. Did you hear the fourth quarter where WING had 2 different game broadcasts going at the same time? Their usual OSU broadcast and maybe an ESPN broadcast? Thank God that only lasted for a few minutes! And speaking of dead air on WING they seem to have trouble with switching from night to day pattern in the mornings, with aprox. 5 minutes of dead air yesterday and today. Switching to night pattern seems to be no problem in the evenings. Not certain that they have a live board op but automation usually doesn't have that many screw-ups.
