WPXI-TV's Bob Bruce really sucks. I don't know if he can't read a teleprompter, or he just can't make his mouth say things his brain is thinking, but he hurts my radio ears every single day and it has to be said. He sucks. He is CONSTANTLY screwing something up on the air. Like every three minutes!

Which reminds me of what made me think of posting: I just watched the news and during a stopset they ran their EOE statement. Now I believe in Equal Opportunity, but Channel 11 might be taking EOE too far. Broadcasting companies ought not discriminate against hiring people because of their age, race, color, or creed, sure... but I think they SHOULD discriminate against hiring people who can't speak to be broadcasters. Seems intuitively like it might be mildly relevant to your core function as an employee whether or not you're freakin' dyslexic if your job might entail speaking from the written word to the masses..

PS Newlin Archinal is kinda hot.

Bob isn't half as bad as Stacy Smith. Mr. Smith can't go a whole newscast without flubbing up.
