Are they being carried? Are some cable companies more willing than others to carry the local "sub-channels". In Riverside, CA, Charter Cable carries ABC 7 Plus, Eyewittness News Now (also from ABC 7), and The Tube from KTLA (CW), and that's it! It seems Charter is kicking and screaming about carrying any more of these channels on their system here. I keep wondering why? PBS is offering two 24 hour channels, free to them, a local Ethnic UHF outlet is offering a 24-hour English-lanuage Anime Network, also free to them, ION is offering two networks of their own. I don't understan the hesitation. I guess Charter is just waiting for that mass flood of new shopping channels to start up :
