Other changes in the Atlanta radio market?

I know this board has been swamped with topics related to the 99.7-100.5 fm changes. Have there been other changes at other stations in the Atlanta Metro area?

Not really...although see the threads about Cox buying the Southern Broadcasting Athens stations and what's up with Lincoln and Star 94/790 The Zone.

I would imagine that Dave FM and Project 961 will tweak their formats to capture old 99x listeners. If they don't, they may be next on the format change merry-go-round after some more books.

Lastly, I don't think that ATL can support three big country stations...one will surely pack it in after a few books (unless one of them wises up and goes classic country).

That's funny....the station I work for is ordering a different brand of toilet paper too....
Maybe we have the same consultant.
They took the vanilla Ding Dongs out of the vending machine and replaced them with chocolate ones.
Any other changes in Atlanta radio vending machines?

I always consider it a bonus if the vending machine in the break room has those donut sticks or powdered sugar donuts.

Everytime I go to "talk to Ralph on the big white phone" in the WRAS gentleman's room there is a big picture of Brittney Spears licking her lips.
Just how does one "talk to Ralph on the big white phone" with Brittney watching and licking her lips?
What else is happening in Atlanta area radio station bathrooms?

Heard there's a good chance that Legends 96.7 is going to have a new morning show VT'd by a local fellow most of us know.

You get vending machines???

Lucky SOB! ;D

Yeah, well, most of my work has been in television. come to think of it, the radio stations I worked at didn't have vending machines. As a matter of fact, the break room was about as big as the news closet!

post a stupid question...get a goofy response haha. What i meant to ask was: Any changes in talent line ups ie shift changes? Any new people coming into the Atlanta Meto litening area? Will Batman save the day?

Tine in next week.
