Other programming on My Network TV....

According to www.wikipedia.org, My Network TV some plans to air some other (not-so-"soapy") programming besides Desire and Fashion House--does anyone know if the following will ever see the light of day:

1. Catwalk (MNTV's version of America's Next Top Model)
2. On Scene, a Fox News program
3. Americanized versions of two British shows

Actually, My Network TV announced back in July that they were dropping development plans for these shows, and that they'd go solely with telenovelas for their programming. Whether these shows actually see the light of day (on MY or through another outlet) is anyone's guess, and whether or not they'll air on MY will depend on FOX's commitment to the novelas.

I thought we (I) made that clear...

...unless this is a misinterpretation of the article.

(Of course, this guy is using Wikipedia as a source. That's a no-no.)

Well, for what it's worth,I wish that the MY Network would just go away and let the stations that carry it go back to being independent stations. Their soap operas at night do not compare to what Dallas,Dynasty,Knots Landing and Falcon Crest were in the 80's. Saw a preview of what they call soap operas on MYN and it bored me stiff.

How long before stations begin rebelling on their own, and ship the My Network block to 4am?

It'll never happen on the Fox-owned stations...some of the smaller stations may do that.

I wish that would happen but it can't happen in Hartford. WCTX/59 is under contract to run The Shop@Home Netowork 130AM-630AM daily. The only option here in Hartford is to do it 11:31PM-1:30AM.

Making me think of the days of when WB started in 1995 and WTNH-TV (ABC) channel 8 of New Haven carried their then-one night two hour block on Saturday nights at 11:30 PM. :)
