Other stations off yesterday?

A friend of mine, who formerly worked overnights and fill-in on WDOK, and is a regular radio consumer, told me yesterday that I-Heart stations, and even, maybe, some others, were off the air yesterday afternoon. He thought the issue was his car radio, but other stations came in fine. I have no idea.
 
I've noticed some stations, iheart/audacy mostly, dropping out here and there over the last week or two. . I just assumed it was being caused by skip but didn't bother tuning around to see if other stations from out of the area were coming in
