Other than Hannity, is WSB really Conservative talk?

I was thinking about this last night as I was drifting off to bed. Other than Hannity WSB really isn't too Conservative:

First of all, 750 uses CNN (some refer to them as the Communist News Network) as their national news source. Boortz is a Libertarian, promotes the elimination of Income Taxes, and demands that Bush be impeached for signing McCain-Feingold into law. Clark Howard refuses to be politically labeled. Savage is a loose political cannon and trashes Bush as much as he trashes the Left (It seems like he wants to start his own political party sinmce he is not a libertarian and makes fun of the college kids who vote that way). And last night WSB is trying a new host out who was demanding the end of public education. Definitely not a Republican love-fest (other than Hannity). Not that what WSB is doing is such a bad thing.

Is this one of the reasons why WSB is such a ratings monster over WGST (other than the worse signal)?

This might belong on off-air, but since when does Republican equal conservative? Yeah, they seem to go hand in hand, but one is not the other.
I thought being Libertarian WAS generally conservative...limited government, more individual liberty and responsibility. But okay.
Clark Howard shouldn't be politically labeled...it's not the nature of his show. Consumer info and the Friday Flyer aren't political issues. And Savage is well, Savage. He's whatever he decides to be that night. Haven't heard the new guy.

But you do have a point...WSB consistently beats GST, but for both reasons- Better programming AND a superior signal.

Very good and valid points. I consider there to be a differance between being politically conservative and being a "Conservative" in the mainstream of society. I won't go any further so this doesn't become a political battle. <P ID="signature">______________
