Ouch WTCB!

WOMG isn't doing too well, either, neither is Steve.

Can't help but wonder if this book was weighted somewhat seeing that the adult stations (Magic, B, Fox, Steve) are all down.

I am shocked Cumulus has not tried CHR or Country in the market yet.

Why? They get rid of most of the staff of the stations and quality AE's that have been there for years. Why do you think they would spend money on a new format? And they would have to spend a ton to go up on COS and NOK!

I know everyone loves format wars (as do I) but those days are done. Just not going to happen.

WMYI has always blown and sucked. I mean come on they had Delilah! I've never liked that station no matter what they've done with it. It always seemed to much of a womans station for my tastes, even more so than Magic.

WMYI, once upon a time, did a very good job with the AC format. Not necessarily my cup of tea, either (I liked some of it), but they had killer performance and was one of the best sounding AC's in the southeast.

I think WTCB has a little more rebound potental than WMYI who we can stick a fork in.

I mentioned CHR or Country because Cumulus has launched those formats against heritage stations in multiple markets.

WTCB has proven that they could swing in one direction or another to fit the times more than just a few times, I wouldn't count them down just yet and as for no format wars I guess there low tone but seems to me that's whats still going on in Charleston with the country stations.
