Now where are all those people who whined for the past six months about Kent & Alan being too old, same old giveaways, John Tesh and their audio processing?

I can't hear you.

I noticed that too. Kent and Alan, I believe are the oldest
show on Seattle radio, yet were number one in almost every female demo
under the age of 49. Bob Rivers did the same thing on the male side
of the radio. Guess the old guys aren't quite dead and buried after all.
Who was here first Kent and Alan or Rivers? Ichabod is probably the long
time vet on the music radio side of the dial, but has worked at several
stations and formats if memory serves me well.

For the record John Tesh did very well too, but primarily with younger
women. Delilah still is the queen of nights, Tesh may be a king in waiting,
though he clobbered Delilah in Portland. This could shape up to be a
battle to watch, but in Delilah's home town she won't be as easy to beat.

How many people does it take to screw up a radio station? One. Way to go Tom Clendening. Although you had significant help from an aging and boring staff.

I believe Kent & Alan started on KLPZ in 1986 and Rivers started on KISW in 1989. As I recall Ichabod started out on KJR-AM in about 1976. So, we're talking close to three decades for Ichabod and nearly two decades for Kent & Alan. But it seems these "old timers" can still get it done.

Well... I'm still a man so I don't listen to any of the stations you've mentioned. But I'm sure you and all your girlfriends can hang a round the beauty shop and brag about how great Kent, Alien, and Johnny Tush are. Congrats...
