Imploring the Gods

One might speculate that this thread is not the only "undead" that a certain high-level executive might be imploring Cthulhu* to help arise...

*Cthulhu - a feature film, starring Jason Cottle and Tori Spelling. THAT is truly the embodiment of "extreme horror or evil".

It's even more terrifying than you might suppose, since the movie is based on H.P. Lovecraft's classic horror tale "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". Except they turned the "I'm different from everyone else because I'm turning into an evil, immortal fish-man" sub-plot into an incomprehensible "I'm different and alienated because I'm gay" story.

No, I am not making this up.

To bring this somewhat back on-topic, Utica's own Dick Clark controls the film adaptation rights to a significant chunk of Lovecraft's horror stories. His production group is one of the biggest rights holders for literary horror and fantasy properties in the world.

Your friend forever,
