Out-of-the-box suggestion for 'TPIR' host

Perhaps it has been suggested before, but I'll throw it out there anyway: How about Rick Dees as the next host of "The Price is Right"?

He already works and lives(?) in Los Angeles. His previous attempts at TV notoriety never lasted long, but this one obviously would have more staying power. Baby boomers and college students (part of TPIR's audience) definitely know who he is and probably like the guy.

And he'd follow a pretty notable list of TV hosts who got their start on radio: Wink Martindale, Ed McMahon, Bob Eubanks, Pat Sajak, Alex Trebek, and some guy named Bob Barker.

He'd be okay. I think he could use the work after Ryan Seacrest usurped him on the radio.

And where's JD Roth, aka Mr. "Fun House"???

I know he's done other stuff besides FH (Endurance, Masters of the Maze, Sex Wars, Unan1mous, etc.) and that we've watched him mature over the last 20 years; but now that he's pushing 40, it may be time for him to step up and see about taking the TPIR gig.
