Over at Renda....

Sunny 94.1 has picked up John Tesh for 7pm to Midnights 7 days a week is what I hear....intresting that will also be contiuned in the Midnight to 530 am slot on Lite 96.1 as well.

Now since the Rooster is basically on a demise as noted by the Christmas music playing over at 93.3 does anyone think what Gator will do? Will it finally fill in that 7pm to Midnight slot with an all request show (which would pretty sweet if they did) and also pick up some of the shows that Rooster had? (esp the Foxworthy Countdown)....if country is gone for good for 93.3 then some of these shows have to go somewhere....WQIK does not have all the room to hold whats left from WROO.....

Also what is up with Movin? I see they have Matt (aka Shotgun I believe) on in Afternoons but what about mornings? It looks like they are missing something the biggest daypart for the whole day. I wish Renda would go back and try the Oldies/Classic Hits format again...this time with a whole fresh approach that includes ads, djs, and the whole shabang including the best imaging possible. I know that is a dream but who says I can't dream?

And when is Lite going Christmas??? I hope soon......

You want TWO Christmas stations? Before Thanksgiving?! I'd pull my hair out if I had any left. ;-)

I suppose for any syndicated stuff that was on Rooster, we'd have to know if there's an out clause in the contracts. CC could stick it to Gator by moving whatever they want to QIK, then making good the barter on what they choose not to air (thus keeping it). I'm sure it's all been worked out by now.

Interesting move placing John Tesh--with some recent music--on Sunny, rather than say, resurrecting Tom Kent or finding something else. Unless they're soon to drop Tesh from Lite overnights, and in that case, overlapping is cool. I guess it makes a good test during sweeps to see who's listening to that show, where, and when.

The question is, who would want any of the trash that rooster aired ? Foxworthy countdown... Big D and Bubba.....blah. The only blood that station had left in it was when Shotgun was in afternoons there. Glad he got out in time, the man upstairs was looking out for him for sure!!
