Overnight Change at 710

I seldom listen to KIRO, but it'll be even less now.
PD should have been honest and said, "We're cost-cutting. Overnights aren't worth the investment." Which is one reason why Coast to Coast A.M. has so many affiliates.
But I enjoyed the live all-nights, and I liked When Radio Was on the weekends.
I'll miss them both.
Meanwhile, for quite a while I've had access to the show they're now running, and it's just a mediocre conservative talk-show dressed up as a trucker's program.
Tedious stuff. Bad decision. If economics dictated the move, reruns of their
daytime talk programming would have been more entertaining. 1150's CNN Headline News will be a better listen, and that doesn't even have fresh content till 3 a.m. :-[
