Tampa Bay area now has about five. WMTX, WRBQ, WUSF, WMNF, and WPCV. Does anybody know who is actually live and are there anymore? I was wondering what prompted WRBQ to put Jack Miller overnights. I met somebody who said they did overnights on WSUN a long time ago. Did Cox ever have anybody overnight in the market? I cannot recall them doing that here. This person may have meant before Cox owned WSUN. Don't know.

I believe Cox had voice-tracked talent on 107.3 The Bay overnights. You know to tell the listener what they are listening too. It was as a part of the "We ID" philosophy started by WMMO. Now even WMMO has largely abandoned the practice of ID'ing every song that plays.

Cox has occasionally tinkered with overnight talent on 97X. That however was several years ago.

Hell, even in the 90's when I did overnights sometimes, I would do my show on a minidisc or DAT beforehand, and just go in and press play, lol... and sleep or have the boardop babysit. Most of the time.

Based on websites, CC has an overnight guy on 933 FLZ instead of Mix
