overnite jockless at WXRV

Listening to the River after midnight have they gone automated or just have a board op there for the overnights? Would a board op only save them that much $$?

One night around 10-11pm there was dead air for a long time (a few weeks ago)--we wondered if no one was there to notice?

They have been voice tracked/automated in the overnights for the last few years. Maybe they no longer want to pay someone to voice track.

they've been vt-ing on overnights forever...

With all the offerings available compared with the number of actual listeners in the overnight on Boston radio, is this really an issue?
