It seems like every time I turn on B101 every day I am hearing the song by Santana. I really like the song but it's funny how every time I listen to B101 I hear it. Does anyone know what the title means in English? I think it means "Hey, how's it going?", but not sure. <P ID="signature">______________
Moe: (Sees a microphone in a radio studio) Ooh, a microphonie!

Curly: Or a phoney at the mike!

Moe: Quiet numbskulls I'm broadcastin'!

From The Three Stooges episode "Micro-Phoneys"</P>

I'm pretty sure you're right on the translation.

free translation.com has oye como va as "it hears it as goes" (?) but if it's
just oy meaning "hey" and you just translate "como va", it means "as goes"
or "how goes it"?

True story: GM couldn't figure out why the Chevy Nova wasn't selling in Spanish-speaking countries. Then someone figured out that "no va" means
"it doesn't go/it doesn't work"
