Its not about making nice and being nice, its about pulling ratings. What do you think has a better chance, vicious, vulgar attacks from a fake Ozzy Osbourne, or cans clunking into a cardboard box? Gadzooks!

im sorry, but there is no way Ozzy would say that about WMMR. Ozzy is well aware of how great WMMR is, and he knows damn well how much MMR promotes all the Ozzy shows and stuff all over the 70 miles in each direction they reach. i'd bet my life that that was not Ozzy.
i mean come on, what kind of rock artist has NEVER heard of WMMR. just yesterday Jaxon aired an interview he had with the guitarist of Tool.

however, i must say how great WYSP is sounding as far as the music is concerned.

Well first Ozzy KNOWS better than to use the "f-g" word to slam American radio stations that play his music. The only people who would do something like that behind a mic are usually American radio jocks who don't have much for talent and have to bait their competition. Besides, "f-g" is a word British people use to refer to cigarettes, not other people.

This is not cool. Or funny. Ozzy has a sense of humor, but even he draws the line somewhere - especially if he has to suffer the blowback.

I think WYSP owes Ozzy an apology.
 
I've heard Bono talking about how they heard U2 being played on WMMR when they were a small band from the stage of the Wachovia Center. He's never mentioned the call letters WYSP from a stage in Philly.
 
So, Kid Chris gets an Ozzy sound-a-like to rip the number one morning show in town - then has everyone that works on his program plus the few listeners that he has begun to pick up so far spam a message board claiming how brilliant it was. If this is compelling radio, then thank God for satellite.

I heard his interview with Slash - "We should start a band together" (chirping of crickets). Wow! Great stuff!

Will his audience build? Probably. Should P & S pack up and leave now because Chris is the 2nd coming of Howard? Come on now!

Nobody is hailing it as "brilliant". All-in-all, all it was was just another dopey bit. Whats brilliant is how it got WMMR to cry to Ozzy management and tell on WYSP. Gadzooks!
 
Yo WMMR is playing "Du Hast" from "Rammstein" right now...i didnt know any station in the country would play that...this is kick ass!
