I do HATE the way stations like 820 CRAM the news in a the top of the hour. They create stress with their mile-a-minute rendition fo the headlines.

I agree with that! Heard one of the breathless speedreaders this afternoon. Bob Morrison was in for the regular anchor Bob leonard.
Sounded like he did the whole newscast in a single breath, trying to cram 10 stories in a space meant for 5.
Personally I'd like to hear the actual story, not just a blur of words.

I tried listening to the news on 1360, but they're even worse! The news business must be really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for talent.

Exactly how were you right about GW getting fired? You predicted it would happen and it did? Yeah you and 50+ other people did as well. Doesn't give much credit to your prediction that 1360 will be sold. Unless you have more factual information besides "1360 isn't making money" to back it up, it's just another prediction. Newflash, a lot of stations aren't making money in this economy. Hence all the layoffs.

Um...Dude you have a real problem reading...I had it that he was fired before it was released... and the point about 1360 is it is available for lease despite the fact that there is currently someone leasing the station. Meaning, they are having big problems paying the monthly fee, and will be pulled as soon as a new lessee steps forward.
