P&K leaving again?

If you are really their true fan and care about them, you'd want them to leave the market. They aren't going to get decent paying gigs here. I mean, do you want them languishing in financial limbo and professional obscurity just to make them easy for your to find?
If they land someplace that will pay them, I'm sure you can listen to them on line. These days, even small markets do live streaming and podcasting.

I listened today and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. If they are depressed they have good reason to be. Kelly has been trying to get pregnant now for over a year and they, just like most people, are having financial troubles.
Russ Martin is still under contract with CBS through 2011, so he will not be appearing on 1360 anytime soon, unless they buy out his contract and that's not happening.

Their response was "Where not leaving anytime soon, I don't think." I don't think they are leaving it was just one of those days to get feelings out.

Pugs, from what he said on the show the other day, is living off of his credit cards and probably got a hook-up from Amil to live at the apartment downtown. I think that he is the only source of income with his wife staying at home and taking care of the baby. I pray that things get better for him and his family.
Pugs may not want to face it, but it seems time he leave radio and get a better paying job (at least for now).
But he is so good at what he does! He keeps the show moving and can throw out very interesting topics. Id rather have a show with him than with just Kelly. This situation just sucks.FrontRowGreg said:
Maybe Pugs could start working at HMS. I hear they're hiring! I agree, while Pugs can carry the show in Kelly's absence, the reverse has never been true, at least to my taste.
It's not so much a question of Pugs' talent, it's the job market. If he's struggling financially, he's gotta make some sort of change. Either find a radio job in another city that pays him a salary he can live on or find a job here that will. There's a balance between doing what you love and being able to provide for your family. Sometimes, you have to give up what you want for what you need.

When Pugs all of a sudden up and moved downtime, it seemed very weird and rushed. Like he had no choice or option. So that someone else is footing his rent bill is likely.
I don't really understand their deal with 1360. Do they make any money, or I assume they get their own advertisters, but probably don't make enough to more than keep the show on the air?
Kelly does seem done. I find the deal of wanting a kid with money problems weird, but she is well insured and her husband has a fairly secure job. As mentioned she spent a lot of money on it. The problem is she is 40 now, so she does not have much more time to try and have a kid, in fact the Coast Guard medical plan will not let her do invitro much longer. Her husband doesn't have any kids. So that is the rub.
Anyways, I have listened to them for a long time, but it seems to be coming to a real end at this point. I think with Kelly being in CC, it is just going to be easier and easier for them to fall apart. The show doesn't work very well when Kelly is there as pugs needs to look at Kelly.
