Pac 12 Network and Longhorn network ending on June thirtieth

The pac 12 network is shutting down but I am wondering if the streaming channel pac 12 insider will remain as a free internet based channel as for the longhorn network which aired texas longhorn games it will be over on July 1st when Texas officially becomes part of the sec but their will be a re imagined streaming version of it which will launch on July 1st which will replay old Texas games whose rights are owned by the university of Texas exclusively on the longhorn network app.

The PAC-12 is no more. What's temporarily left of it is Oregon State and Washington State, which have little to no national (or even regional, outside their home states) interest whatsoever. Texas will just have to be happy airing their games on the SEC network, which is national.

Texas has the Longhorn Network, and it’s national via streaming

Come July 1st the longhorn network will no longer be carried on any linear television platforms and only will be airing best of replays of classic texas games that the university of texas has exclusive rights to air.. and they already announced that university of texas future live games and events will no longer be aired on the longhorn network in any capacity.

When was that announced?

The Pac 10 FAST channel is on several free streaming services. I assume that will be ending as well. AFAIK, the Longhorn Network never had a FAST channel.

For what it's worth, a full schedule of programs still shows for the Pac-10 FAST channel on Plex all the way through next week, all "classic" games and athlete profiles. We'll see on the 1st whether these shows actually air or the channel disappears. It is interesting that the network would lay out a detailed list of events for a network that would be going off the air in a couple of days. Why bother?

The schedule for the longhorn network listings on directv has the final program for the network scheduled to air at 4 pm june thirtieth then it has a listing called tune to sec network in 4 hour blocks. https://www.directv.com/guide/chann...HD-ch677-940180da-7917-48f1-ac82-383eae9afc71

Well, June 30th has arrived, and the PAC-12 channels have departed. In their place on Spectrum Cable is a static slide reading “Programming on this network is no longer available. La programación en esta estación ya no está disponible.”

What about longhorn network I’m assuming it’s still on until 4 pm but have no way to check because I don’t have cable.

The FAST channel is still going on Plex and, I assume, the other ad-supported streamers that have been carrying it. Now showing: "Football in 60," a condensed version of a Pac-12 footbally game from yesteryear. This episode is Washington State's upset of USC in September 2013.

DISH has the Pac-12 Network until tonight.

DISH has LHN on until 6pm ET. After that it reads "Tune in to SEC Network."
Spectrum has already ended both networks they are running a message that says programming on this network is no longer available this happened at midnight last night for both networks according to what I’ve seen people on twitter post.

No wonder, as everyone left the PAC-12 except for WSU and Oregon State. My guess is those universities will have their games on various sports channels, like ESPN, ESPNU, FS1, etc. for the various sports, and some (volleyball, soccer, etc.) may be via the internet only. That's my guess.

They could also affiliate themselves with lesser conferences -- WAC, West Coast Conference, Mountain West, etc.

Or the vestigial Pac-12, now a Pac-2, could raid those other conferences for new member schools. The new league would be able to use the Pac-12 (or Pac-8 or Pac-10) name, but aside from OSU and WSU, would be made up of lower-profile schools. As for television ... think CBS Sports Network, FS2, Ion, or streaming-only nets like Stadium -- the low-rent district of sports TV.

Where are the big east conference games going to air?
