Pacers Radio Network

I was listening to WIBC on Saturday during the Pacers/Bulls game. Two notes:

1) Sound quality didn't seem as good as it had been. Sounded like audio was getting clipped in the chain. Did they do an equipment downgrade?

2) Flipped over to 1070 for a minute or two for the Knicks game. Heard a highlight from Boyle and Croshere. ESPN Radio's John Stashour gave credit to:
"Slick Leonard and Mark Boyle on 1070 The Fan"
Leonard has been convalescing for more than a month after a heart attack, and 1070 the Fan hasn't aired Pacer games this season. Whether the error was committed by ESPN Radio or by Emmis staff, its a little sad.

Do the Pacers provide the audio equipment, or does WIBC?

I noticed the audio quality is much improved at home games over the road games. do they use different equipment when they go on the road? Is WIBC too cheap to send a technician/engineer to set up the road games? The Colts use to have their own engineer to set up the broadcast, not sure if they still do but from the sound of their broadcasts since the move to WFNI/Hank, they probably do not anymore.

My guess is that they use different equipment on the road.
