Just a guess on my part that her contract wasn't renewed.

My brush with greatness involves Pam Cross. I was grocery shopping when Pam Cross walked up to me, apparently thinking I worked there. Without asking me if I worked there, she asked me (very politely) where something was. I told her I thought it was a couple aisles over and off she went.

She was hired by Emily Rooney from Hartford when she was news director at Church 5.

Amazing. I went to school in Boston in the mid-80's through the early-90's and remember Pam Cross from that time. She always struck me as a very competent reporter and anchor.
