Panama City Ratings.....

Powell would not have had those properties in time to do anything, anyway--I don't think they took over until the book was done.

Very nice track for WPAP. And aside from a little choppiness in Beat's otherwise strong showing, Clear Channel appears to be rock solid across the cluster.

WTF is with Island? At a time when CHR everywhere else is kicking ass and taking names, 105.9 seems to be struggling a bit --no doubt with significant help from The Beat. If PFM chipped-in, us outsiders won't know, unless an insider wants to share an observation.

But always remember, in market #234 (or whatever it is) the sampling is so relatively small that a few diaries one way or the other can indicate something that isn't always there. You know: too many diaries in town... too many at the beach... too many at the base... too many in the swamp...

Just curious, why was Double O/Powell left out of the ratings?

Safe to say that Double O dropped their Arbitron subscription when it became obvious they were going to sell this cluster--they were operating in the red, I gather--and like I mentioned above, Powell didn't take over until the spring book was history. Remember, Arbitron isn't listing non-subscribers in their ratings releases to the press (radio-info, All Access, etc). Powell has been a subscriber in Iowa, so you'll likely see them in PC.

From my observation of this book, Powell should be happy with the numbers. They are better than zero, right? Something to look forward too....A rating.

Even numbers aren't fun to look at anymore. Geez. ;D

Old age prevents me from staring at lots of things down in PCB. Never thought this would be one of them. They can't call yir company cheap on this one, Charlie. Don't let them sell to Crookulass....
