PANIC @ WARM?

She's been doing weekends for months now on KRWM.

Shows both how much I've listened to Warm, and how good they've been at keeping their website updated.

Miss,

Tower Lamp is on to something, I can tell you that. My source won't tell me who, when, or where though.
Yes, there are some unkind comments posted at times, but for the most part I really like this forum. It's far better than anything we've had in the past. Now if could just get Kelly back! I meant Guru.

I would have thought the old rule "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" would have applied to KRWM. Oh well......

Staying stagnant might have been Warm's problem.

Seattle media personality Shellie Hart returns to the radio as the midday host on Sandusky’s soft AC KRWM, Seattle “Warm 106.9.” Hart previously worked at crosstown KUBE and serves as the emcee for games for the WNBA’s Seattle Storm

Gotta be a format change coming...

I know I should have a thicker skin and I KNOW it's just one guy's opinion, but right now that hurts.
After 40+ years in the business even I know it's time to try something else. Easy to hide behind usernames...

Don't worry, Tom. That guy is a radio-wanna-be loser. He couldn't even carry your headphones. You'll land on your feet.

To what, CHR? With Mark Christopher in the morning?

And doesn't Sandusky have a CHR right down the hall?

There might be a format updating, but not necessarily a format change.

Looks like the afternoon guy is toast and so is my friend Daryl from the mid day show. Well, at least they let them make a comment on the web site.

I wonder if they're trying to be a "WSB 98.5", by increasing the '00s and '10s music and decreasing the '80s music?

Howdy peeps. I was moved to register and and comment today for the first time. Just wanted to say thank you to the folks making positive comments about Tom. To the clown who posted the nasty comment, that is just pitiful. So quick & easy to tear something apart, when it takes so long to build something meaningful, like a career, or a radio station. We need more positivity in this world.
Okay my mini speech is done. Commence with the Kokomo~

Gosh-is that you Daryl Summers? I also enjoyed your midday shift. Music to make it through the workday works!

I'm wondering if maybe some of the old KRWM people, should migrate to KMCQ (Hopefully with a fixed audio processor), or even KXXO? or if when KANY makes it's move to South Mountain, flip to REAL soft rock?

I'm hoping Delilah doesn't get axed next from the "NEW" Warm. That's the only connection left between 106.9's original city of license, and the station.

This has been a bummer of a day...I had this bad feeling when I saw that the AM guy was let loose...then to open my e-mail today and read that there was a 'new' mid-day person and no mention of the person who WAS in that slot. Little digging and reading online and my suspicions were confirmed. A very good college friend and a person that helped me get my start in commercial radio back in 89 ish at KZFN, Daryl Summers was let go on Friday. Bummer. Great run (13 years?) and have enjoyed listening when possible. I might have to go way back and dig out an old "Channel-Z" air check or two. :)

Hope that the former WARM staff is able to pick up the pieces and find employment on air soon.

SHHHHH!!!!!......They'll hear you......

Jodesha (owner of KANY) already has Dial Global sat-AC on KSWW 102.1. A second soft rock is probably not going to happen. I'd love for a "WDUV" AC or a Smooth Jazz station targeted at both Seattle and the Coast (with KXXO-like coverage).
