Part 15 looked upon as irrelevent on Wikipedia

A Part 15 station would be more relavent if it serves a community that has no licesned stations,or if a local licensed station moved its studios to a larger municipality and/or owned by a cluster conglomerate.

A student ran Part 15 at a local college would also provice some relevency and community service.

Wikipedia now provides a category for "unlicensed stations" in the U.S.

Mentions an ERP of 5 watts, must be one of those unlicensed grandfathered in school stations.
OR, 100 milliwatts into 4" rigid feedline to a 20 bay RotoTiller at 200'! No, wait, that would be illegal wouldnt it?!?!?! :)

A shame such a potentially useful resource such as Wikipedia is being corrupted.

Not sure how someone decides if something is notable and therefore worthy of a page? Looks like that scheme failed this time. Do you have a backup of the page LibertyNT? Be interesting to read and compare to others still up.

Regards,
Dave

I think what did you in was the URL's. They have to be approved by Wiki and are generally disallowed. The rest could probably be placed back in, but maybe in a more abreviated version. :)

Under Demographics for Dade City, FL this is all I placed. It's been there for awhile:

The Druid Hills area of Dade City is served by a low power AM radio station operating under Part 15 of FCC Rules. The station features Old Time Radio shows and news of interest to Dade City. It can be heard on 1610 kHz.
