Part 15 webcast in Ogg Vorbis

I now have a webcast of my Part 15 FM station ("FM 96.7 The Choice") online, using the Ogg Vorbis codec at 40 kbps. It isn't quite "CD-quality", but it sounds decent and should be streamable over a 56K modem. I'm doing the webcast the steam-powered way: I have a Sony receiver tuned into my 96.7 FM signal and hooked up to the line input of the streaming server's sound card, and that's what you hear. As such, you also get to hear the full effect of my FM Mono audio processing, which is mostly cheaply-acquired CRL gear plus some custom tweaks.

To access my web stream, use this link -- Ogg Vorbis streams can be played by WinAmp, VLC, FooBar2000, and numerous other Windows, Mac, and Linux media players:

If that link comes up with nothing, then it's likely that my streaming server has crashed. I've tried to iron out the bugs, but Oddcast is not 100% flawless (yet).

Oh, and you might ask what format is it? I call it the "Jack" of Adult Contemporary -- Pop, Rock, Oldies, Country, Alternative, even some Adult Standards and Easy Listening classics. It's similar to the BBC's Radio 2, if you've ever heard them.

I've had my station in 48k ogg for a while now, I actually for a few months, fed the part 15 transmitter 30 miles away (at work) with the stream and let the station run at home, but I lost the network link so I had to switch to running it at work with my iPod<P ID="signature">______________
