Rajshnish International Broadcasting Company (headquarters, New Delhi and Punjab) is now expanding into Memphis. Operating on the unique concept of 1/2 watt cluster stations (no license required), we are broadcasting block by block across the world. Soon, we will have almost 1/2 block coverage in Memphis (airport area initially, then Summer Avenue viaduct).

We have a need (soon) for Part Time Board Ops who will have the great responsibility of selecting appropriate content for each moment (such as, "Hello Shoppers! For next 15 minutes, it is buy one, get one free time for frozen orange juice!"). Of course, there will be some brief opportunity for ad libbing and original creativity (such as your choice of using either word, "hello" or "hiya").

We prefer college graduates for this position. Also 10+ years broadcast experience preferred, but will train right persons, or whoever applies. The pay is a combination of wage (minimum) and experience (maximum). Put these together and you have good time indeed!

Other requirements: U.S. citizenship or greencard; ability to frequently lift 75 pounds.

Thank you for your interest in Rajshnish International Broadcasting Company. "We bring you the worlds."

Sounds like a really bad plan... I wonder if the FCC's part 15 has limits to "How Many" transmitters you can place in a market.. if so I'm gonna flood minnesota lake by lake with them.

Actually, no. And, there has been much discussion in the Part 15 community about just that.

One group in Georgia has strung some together, and has made a pretend radio station out of the grouping:

Not sure I would buy ads on it, but you have to give them credit for creativity.

Firstly, thank you to everyone for their interest in Rajshnish International Broadcasting Company. The response has been tremendous. We have not had this much response since our posting several months back about the "Morning Show/Office Helper" position which generated nearly 4,300 applications from as far away as Lagos.

If you have already applied, please be patient. We will follow up with all applicants in the coming weeks for final testing. This will involve a rigorous challenge of setting up the automation equipment while simultaneously cleaning the lavatories between broadcasts. This will separate the men from the boys (which as you know is an absolute necessity in this industry).

For those of you who do not make the cut (if you have less than 10 years radio experience for example, or cannot regularly lift 75 pounds), good news! We have forwarded all your resumes to our sister company, "Second Best Temporary Manual Labor Services." (We can sometimes provide partial utility bill assistance on long term jobs.)

Thank you again for your overwhelming interest in Rajshnish International Broadcasting Company. "We bring you the worlds."

This HAS to be a hoax...

Lifting 75 lbs... and less than 10 yrs of expierence
.. not many ops have more than 10 years of expierence let alone 15.
