Part-time gigs in SE Georgia...

Hello again!

I was curious about the availability of part-time on air work or board-op positions in Savannah or Brunswick. Are they easy to come by for a person with about two years in commercial small-market radio (about six months on-air) and about three years as a non-comm volunteer?

Any idea on pay, positions, hours, etc.?

Thanks, folks!

If a DJ talks into a microphone, and no one's there to listen to him, does he make a noise?</P>

I have recently moved from Brunswick. Part time gigs may be hard to come by. About all that might be available would be possibly ballgame and race board ops and may be some remote board op work. You basically have three operators Quantum with six stations, Golden Isles with two and a free standing AM sports station. What with automation and voice tracking the days of a part time dj are rapidly going away. Good luck. Email me off board and I will give you some names that can tell you what if any is available.
