Part-Time Studio Engineer

I wonder if Clear Channel or Don Curtis needs a part-time studio engineer to keep the stations on the air. (No transmitter work.) What would a good hourly fee for such work be? I love building and maintaining studios as well as individual pieces of equipment.
 
Yeah actually I know both of them could use a part-time studio engineer.

The going rate is 0.00 per hour and after a while I think you have to start giving them money.
 
How are going to keep a radio station on the air if you don't do any transmitter work..NOT.. I don't think Carolina School of Broadcastings qualifies you! Oo_Oo per hour is correct and then you pay to be among the "Great Ones!"

You really shouldn't write things that make you look stupid. I've been a broadcast engineer for 40 years.
 
I would think that a person that's been a "Broadcast Engineer" for 40 years would not get on this forum asking if CC or Curtis would give them a job as a "studio Engineer"  As, Sniff says, I'm afraid I have a few more years than 40!.  First Class FCC Radio-telephone-1966.. SBE-1975.. lst Coverted to Lifetime general Class.. Etc.. Seems like to me you would know what they would pay and there is no such job as that!  try "Contract Engineer", but if you can't work on a transmitter, you are worthless to a station! Ain't no more revoxes, and Itc Cart Machines..Bubba!
