Part Two-Echo Question

Since I can't do echo LIVE in real time with Audition, is there any recommendation for an outboard unit? I have a Behringer DJX1000 mixing board and an AT mic. Budget is a big factor here. Is there such a thing as good and not to expensive? Thanks!<P ID="signature">______________

Thing is....with as much time as you've spend trying to find a way to not multitrack, you could have added an echo to a voicetrack, and multitracked whatever it is you're trying to put together a few hundred times over...but I'm sure you can pick up an old midiverb on e-bay or something if you're that worried about not multitracking.

I did do a show in multi track mode once, and it took 4 times as long to produce than doing it in real time, that's the problem. Oh well, back the drawing board.<P ID="signature">______________

I produced a show last week in tribute to CBS-FM for broadcast over www.radiosamantha.com which streams through Live365, and I wanted to add some echo to my voice. When I do the show in real time, which is generally one hour, total time with production is maybe two hours.

The one time I used the multitrack function, assembling all the music in Audition, getting the segues just right, adding the elements, then recording myself on another track, took a good five hours. To me, that's just not worth the time. Thanks for asking!<P ID="signature">______________
