Partial FM Bandscan from North Canton, OH with Alpine car radio

Visited a friend in Canton, OH last night and got stuck in Friday rush hour traffic on I-77 (there was a bad accident which didn't help matters) but it gave me a chance to do some mobile DXing and this is what I could get: (Only scanned above 92 MHz)

92.1 - unknown oldies/classic hits station
92.3 - WKRK/Cleveland (fair and no splatter from WDJQ 92.5)
92.5 - WDJQ/Alliance, OH
92.7 - CJBX/London, ON (with at least one other fighting it)
92.9 - i-block from WZAK 93.1
93.1 - WZAK/Cleveland
93.3 - WNCD/Youngstown, OH
93.5 - unknown fairly weak station
93.7 - two stations, WQIO and someone else
93.9 (now this is what really surprised me...I could hear a faint station but despite being only a few miles from WHBC 94.1's stick, there was NO interference at all from them - and yes they were on the air)
94.1 - WHBC/Canton (very local)
94.3 - faint CKSY/Chatham, ON (again no interference at all from WHBC)
94.5 - WWSW/Pittsburgh and WXKR/Toledo mixing
94.7 - WSNY/Columbus, OH (weak)
94.9 - WQMX/Akron/Medina
95.1 - WXIL/Elizabeth, WV and WWGY/Grove City, PA mixing it up
95.3 - two stations, one with Indians ballgame and another playing oldies
95.5 - WFHM/Cleveland
95.7 - WVHF/Shadyside, OH and WHIO/Pleasant Hill, OH mixed with WPIG/Olean, NY (this too surprised me)
95.9 - WNPQ/New Philly, OH
96.1 - WKST/Pittsburgh (weak to fair)
96.3 - i-block from WAKS 96.5
96.5 - WAKS/Cleveland
96.7 - i-block from WAKS
96.9 - WRRK/Pittsburgh with another underneath
97.1 - WBNS/Columbus and WREO/Ashtabula mixed
97.3 - WKWK/Wheeling, WV
97.5 - WONE/Akron
97.7 - WILE/Byesville, OH
97.9 - i-block from WKDD 98.1
98.1 - WKDD/Akron
98.3 - i-block from WKDD
98.5 - WNCX/Cleveland
98.7 - unknown weak station
98.9 - WMXY/Youngstown
99.1 - 99X/Cleveland mixing with another

100.1 - WNIR/Kent, OH
100.3 - WGYY/Meadville, PA and WCLT/Newark, OH mixed
100.5 - WBGI/Bellaire, OH
100.7 - WMMS/Cleveland at times getting beat up by another 100.7, probably from Pittsburgh
100.9 - unknown country station
101.1 - WHOT/Youngstown
101.3 - WNCO/Ashland, OH
101.5 - i-block from WHOF 101.7
101.7 - WHOF/N. Canton, OH (very local)
101.9 - i-block from WHOF
102.1 - WDOK/Cleveland
102.3 - unknown country station
102.5 - W273BL/Akron, OH
102.7 - (now this was a real surprise, I had WVSR/Charleston, WV - Id'ed as 'Electric 102.7') with a halfway decent signal!)
102.9 - WYFM/Sharon, PA
103.1 - unknown weak rock station
103.3 - WCRF/Cleveland
103.5 - WOGI/Wheeling, WV

106.5 - WHLK/Cleveland, OH
106.7 - i-block from WRQK 106.9
106.9 - WRQK/Canton (very local)
107.1 - i-block from WRQK
107.3 - WNWV/Elyria, OH
107.5 - I-block from WNWV
107.7 - WXXF/Loudonville, OH
107.9 - WENZ/Cleveland

The receiver is an Alpine CDE-HD137BT. As far as HD reception, the HD from WZAK, WMJI, and WAKS was there for the most part and for other Cleveland stations it went in and out. The adjacent-channel selectivity and sensitivity both are amazing with this unit.

92.1 is likely WOHF Bellevue, OH.

92.1 – likely WKPL Ellwood City, PA
92.7 – maybe WHIZ South Zanesville, OH
93.5 – maybe WBNV Barnesville, OH
93.7 – other station probably KDKA Pittsburgh, PA
93.9 – maybe WRRR St. Marys WV or CIDR Windsor, ON
95.3 – one is almost certainly WKLM Millersburg, OH; the Indians station is WLKR Norwalk, OH
96.9 – the other one may be either WLRD Willard, OH or WVVV Williamstown, WV
98.7 – likely WOVK Wheeling, WV
99.1 – other one could be WHKO Dayton, OH, WFRO Fremont, OH, or WGGE Parkersburg, WV
100.9 – likely WMJK Clyde, OH
102.3 – likely a Canadian station
103.1 – either WHBR Parkersburg, WV or WKVE Mt. Pleasant, PA

The station on 95.3 that had the Indians' game may have been WLKR in Norwalk, Ohio.

Apparently WLKR is the only Indians' affiliate on 95.3. I thought WKLM/Millersburg was too (maybe they used to be?) - so my 2 stations on 95.3 must have been WLKR and WKLM

93.5- WRQN Bowling Green, OH or maybe Barnesville, OH. If you had Public Radio type programming, probably CBCL from London, ON.
93.7- Maybe the new North Madison, OH station? Are they still stunting with John Mellencamp music? Pittsburgh (KDKA-FM) another possibility.
93.9- CIDR- Windsor, ON (Adult Alternative)? WRRR- Saint Marys, WV (AC)?
96.9- WLRD- Willard, OH (Gospel music)?
98.7- WDZH- Detroit, MI (CHR- Amp Radio)- WYKL- Crestline, OH (CCM/K-Love)- WOVK- Wheeling, WV (Country)
99.3- WTNS- Coshocton, OH most likely. If you heard French talk, it was CJBC4F from London, ON.
102.3- No ideas at all. Sorry.
104.3- WOMC- Detroit, MI most likely candidate. This station is huge!
