Anyone know where i can find parts for that module? the only part i need is the lightbulb that goes into the "off" button. I'm a college student working at a college radio station, and the on-air people are complaining about it flickering. Thanks
The lightbulb should have a number etched onto it's metal base.
Get a number and we can find the bulb for you.
It's also possible that the bulb is good. You may need to take it out and reseat it in the switch.
It could be nothing more than a loose connection between the bulb and the socket.
It also could be a bad socket...I've replaced quite a few of them. Best bet is to call your nearest Audioarts dealer, they should be able to get you the parts you need.
Here's a manual.Naturally the bulb has a wheatstone PN.(Imagine that).Like Frankberry said,look on the bulb for a number.Some consoles used the GE327.not sure about this one.Level 42 makes a good point as well.could be a bad socket.
The R-60's I've seen use red leds for the off buttons. The only lamps are in the meters. Maybe earlier versions have lamps. The off switch cap just pulls straight out and you can see the light under it.
Discovered that the button cap actually makes contact with the top of the LED bulb when you press it down. That flexing causes the internal resistor solder connection to come loose from the LED lead. Fixed that by shaving 1/32 off the top & re-soldering the resistor. Also have to use Deoxid on the lamp base.
