Party 100.9 Gainesville

Why isn't this station being talked about? Wow! What dance should sound like and how long has it been on the air?

Why doesn't Chicago have this? Just discovered it this week. Little heavy on commercials but great music!!

I would not call it a fish out of water. Gainesville is a college town and the students love their EDM. The school is bringing the Chainsmokers in next week to campus.

They've been on a while ago when JVC bought the cluster down there. At first, Party was on 99.5 then after Christmas moved to 100.9 after selling 99.5.

I went to UF. I'd think at the most maybe 20,000 students would be interested in the station.
Maybe another 5,000 in G'ville. How long can an audience of 25,000 support an EDM station would be my question? Now, I could actually see it in Chicago, where the audience would be much greater.

How did Burlington County College support a non-commercial EDM station? UF is bigger than BCC. Plus 100.9's signal is pretty big, can be heard on I-75 from I-10 to beyond Ocala.
