PARTY 105.3 (LONG ISLAND) IS BACK!!!

You've read this RIGHT! :)

Driving through Connecticut today, they were playing current dance music such as Madonna's "Hung Up" and Bob Sinclar's "Love Generation". They brought back the Party 105.3 sweepers saying "We're BACK!"

They still have that hour sponsorship thing going and there are no on air personalities (and I think there won't be any..am not sure) but the music is back!

It's rare that a radio station would "admit" to making a mistake and without a doubt, Party Hits Channel 105 WAS A BIG MISTAKE!

Thank you!

Now if only Star93.7 in Boston would do the same thing...

Although PARTY tweaked it's format for it's new brokered programming it never was a really bad station for us dance fans. Dance was mixed into to it's eclectic mix.
Travelling frequently to the North Fork I hear PARTY frequently and can vouch for their new tweak back to dance.
I'm happpy they're back.
Now if they would only move their signal closer to the city.<P ID="signature">______________

They HAD the chance with 92.7. They should have just listened to us. But then again, selling the signal gave Morey HUGE "pocket change" there.

Tony, you've got to admit no matter what you think of TMO, that nobody could turn down $62 million for that little station. If somebody's THAT stupid to offer it, take the money, RUN and don't look back!

Its like the question how long free fm will last?
