Party 105

All i have to say is that this is the station for the summer of 2007 on LI. What a great sound they have, most of the new dance songs out are being played and some of the popular older songs. Just a great mix of old and new dance, loving it! Andrea keep up the great work. Now could you do anything about the signal strength?, its coming in choppy in Southampton, used to be clear. Thanks Thoughts?

Maybe Too Much Overmodulation is taking its toll on the transmitter?

Praise Andrea!

Also Party 105's audio has been in MONO for well over a month, although the stereo carrier is present.
102.5 WBAZ and 101.7 The Beach are in MONO as well. Is it that hard to broadcast in stereo?
If you think overmodulation in stereo is bad, listen to Party 105 these days, the mono sounds even worse.

Geez, who are all these east end stations using as their engineers? I've heard some truly crappy sounding audio from many of these stations...Party 105 recently, 'EHM, 101.7, WBAZ. If you're going to do mono, do it right, like those guys over at WLNG ;D

LOL! I didn't realize how i spelt it. Maybe she's the MD and Andre's the PD. I wasn't talking about the audio, i was just talking about the music being played, i think its great that they are playing some dance from the early days of party 105. Thats all, the audio is horrible.

Praise Andrea!

I agree, the overall sound (outside of the mono stereo problem) has sounded so much better in the past couple of months... they went from sounding like a personality free sirius station to a real station..
