There's gonna be a monster party on Walton street on Monday. I mean, of all the groups in town that have a reason to celebrate, it's Galaxy. Sure, some of you held your own, however, more of you took a whipping. 95X for instance, has been beat by K-Rock in 12+, 18-34p, 18-49p and even in 25-54p. It's time to RECOGNIZE! It only took us 23 months to beat the competition in this market like a set of baby seals. Further to this, our sister stations blew up the outside world to. TK ... OMFG!!! 12+, 25-54p, 18-49p and even in 18-34p demolished 95X ... props to our sista ... and Sunny, woo!!! posted it's biggest month in HISTORY! the strategy worked! (hold on Sunny beat 95X too? ... LOL!!!!)

There's a party on Walton Street. You betta RECOGNIZE!!!

Congrats!!!
Well done! (for Galaxy)
If C.C. received those numbers for our top stations, we'd all quit our jobs in shame. (but no worries there, C.C. certainly continues to destry the "competition" in this market) Saw the 18-34 numbers, take Hot and B combined and we destroy all of galaxy's stations by a HUGE number. And the Dogs 18-34 numbers jumped nicely.
So have your "party" on Walton, we here on Plum just yawn at another dominating book and go back to work.
And hey, where's the money guy? Seen the Jan numbers yet? *LOL*

I'm not a hater......

...but I'll give you high five anyway. 12+ you had a down book (and still kicked their ass) and TK looks like it had a HUGE book. But was it a fair fight? Shouldn't we consider the gang at 95X "special needs"?

Obviously bad news makes it to Citadel HQ slowly (either that or they don't care), but I predicted that they would have taken drastic measures to right the ship by now. I'm not in the area anymore but I look at their webpage and think, "who are these guys??!!"

How the once mighty have fallen........

You should throw a party on Dennis Terrace in Albany too, to celebrate your overwhelming success, in that market. Maybe I\'ll stop by, to celebrate with you, but in the interest of safe driving, I\'ll only drink between 1.4 and 1.7 beers, while I\'m there...

Bloat 'n Gloat: A Few Questions

> How the once mighty have fallen...

Is 95X accepting flowers or donations to a charity in lieu of flowers?

Bone: Congrats to you and your staff; but the "baby seal" analogy was... uhh, over-stated. Did you make a contribution to PITA?

Genius: It was only a matter of time. thought you'd checked out. Did you thank your programming staffs, jocks and promotions departments for their hard work as much as you blow sales-smoke on this board?

Farid 'n Judy: Have you looked at the numbers?</font>

Re: Bloat 'n Gloat: A Few Questions

yeah, but X still fared better than tweedle O'D and tweedle dumb
let's see how the 'dukes of hazzard' did...
O'Dell in Columbus 2.2-1.9 for #16
Ryno in Ft. Myers 3.0-2.5 for #15

they have the golden touch.....

Congratulations!

I didn't think that anybody at 95X could possibly find a shred of good news in the latest book, but I was wrong.

Boy, am I stupid. I thought 95X was competing against other Syracuse radio stations. Little did I know that they are targeting former 95X jocks in other markets.

PS - I'm sure that the previous post will attract a well-reasoned, measured response from Ryno. I can hardly wait!

And Might I add, Ryno is now on the beach. Granted it is in Ft. Myers, but he is looking for work. Maybe he can come back and breathe some life in Dog or X...LMFAO...sure...that could happen. And That will be the day, The Dog beats X. (Notice I didn't say K-Rock. You gotta shoot for the easy target first. And that won't happen either.)

The only party at Galaxy should be going on with your counterparts at TK. You, Mr. Loudmouth, have very little to show for. Your ratings go down and you're partying about your "victory" -- Your station is flat, you've exacted no change... Your competition can't get out of its own way, but you... Mr. Bone, have done nothing to grow your station in a time where the opportunity was huge. Now that your competition has changed again, can you capitalize on it? If you can't get a 5 share 12+ in the next book you should be fired for lackluster performance. Of course, at Galaxy they reward mediocrity, so you fit right in.

I get you

The other PD's should take a lesson here. Bone, your station isn't lighting the world on fire but you post your boast on here anyway. Your staff sees this and feels good. Whether you are a good ratings getter or not is still up in the air but you are a good leader. So, for this moment, I'll "recognize".

The best thing for you to do.

Stone, the best thing for you to do is shut up and continue sending out resumes. You don't want to get Alexis' gig, you'll just be fired to.

Walton Street Props

There is reason for celebration on Walton Street.

Let me add my little contribution to the festivities...

Well Done. lol.

Truth or Bull?

Any confirmation on this? I haven't seen anything in the trades, and he's still on their website.

They did manage to drop to 15th in the market. I'm sure Ryno played his part.

Re: Truth or Bull?

ryno's probably trading the beach for the brew...he can hook up with O'Dell in Columbus and drive another set of calls into the ground...
