party 93.3 on 105.3?

I've been picking up Party 93.3 on 105.3 in the League City area. I thought 105.3 was a Bob FM station located in The Woodlands.

It is Bob in the Woodlands but the Crystal Beach stick has been simulcasting KPTY since about 03

It just weird that the FCC allowed 2 stations on 105.3 in the Houston area & they will not allow any new stations on 94.9 or 95.3 FCC is a joke.

Nope, its all about the numbers...the 2 105.3s are not in the Houston area..they are rimshots and low coverage (the "Woodlands" 105.3 was licensed to Hempstead last I looked and does NOT have city grade coverage over the Woodlands...nor will they ever!)...the Crystal Beach FM is one that was a squeeze (like 101.5 down there as well)
94.9 and 95.3?? Nope...not far enough away from 94.5 or 95.7...its all in the spacing and power/signal contours...and when you have been around RF for 35+ years, then maybe you'll understand.,,,(well we hope you'll understand it before the entire 35 yrs of it..... ;)
