Party 97.7 teasing....

Party 97-7 is saying "something big is coming"

Any guesses?

Here's mine- they finally start streaming. But seriously, KTFM sounds like a real "Party Station" compared to Party 97-7. Who knew Miley Cyrus and Daughtery was considered party music? ???

I think the party should sound more dance if they call them selves the party, they should not sound so much like a top 40 station.

I agree I think KTFM sounds much better than the party.

Maybe you're reading too much into the name. I don't recall 94.7 being dance oriented when it was Party.

BTW-- The buzz on their facebook page is that they're starting a morning show.

94.7 in Austin?

The buzz? Are you referring to the comments posted by their listeners? If so, that's highly unlikely Univision is going to spend any cash on air staff when they recently laid off sevearl staff members.

Yeah, Party 94.7 was one of the names for the Luling/Austin station along with Capital FM, the Country Kat, and Froggy 94.

KBBT HD2's been dead air for almost a week. It's always up. Maybe that has something to do with Party's big surprise.

I think they would know if KBBT HD2 had no audio, and I don't think they would just let it be dead air unless there was a reason.

This is only a guess, but maybe Party's upgrading the signal or moving the format to a better station with a more powerful signal.

Clear Channel here in Austin once had a similar issue with their Hybrid Digital subchannels out for an extended period. It turned out to be a technical problem and a low priority for a short-handed engineering department.

Well you were right. KBBT HD2 is back.

I don't think they will spend much money on HD until it really kicks off if it does kick off. I still don't see any of the cox stations broadcasting any hd-2 channels.
