PARTY FM, REALLY????? COME ON!!!

I want to know what happened with the signal on this station!! I haven't bothered to listen to this station for a while since it was very hip-hop and lately (like last few days lately that I've been starting to listen), this station is really really starting to get good!! BUT, the damn signal just isn't what it used to be with Pulse 87?!?! Are you serious Party FM?!?! Does anyone know if this will change over time?

Where are you listening from? If in Northern NJ, there's a pirate on 87.9 thats killing the signal even when Pulse was on.

I have to agree with Musik187.

Up in Riverdale, where I live, Pulse came in great with no issues. But with the Party signal, sometimes I get static. On 14th Street where Pulse came in barely, Party rarely comes in at all!

That pirate was around when Pulse was here but it didn't cause any problems before and I don't think that's my problem now. I just think they might have lowered the power on it.

Why is Party FM playing its stunting?
Maybe the feed is out and the stunting is stored at the Big Blue Building.
Was it playing the non-stop dance mixes at low quality?

They really should monitor 87.7 more closely at Ronkonkoma. How could they let it be dead air for hours? All they need is an outdoor antenna pointed west so they can receive 87.7.

Till this day, if any online stream deserves radio time, I'd vote on Original Hot 97. A very true history in NYC radio and hands down should've been on HD then have the hip hop classics on HD-3. Hot 97 on 87.7 without the WPOT calls likein Boston.

Just heard a sweeper mentioning "Party 87.7" This could be the process of that big picture, maybe it is coming.

Or it could just be part of their top of the hour ID? Hopefully that big picture happens soon. But even in the LI market they really need to play more dance. Just so happens they have these Akoo TV's that play music videos in the Freehold Raceway Mall Food Court, and Tiesto Feat. Sneaky Sound System "I Will Be Here" is one of the most requested songs. But apparently the management at Party doesn't seem to care.
It should've been Andre with all the $$ and power instead of Vic, at least he'd do something with it like putting cutting edge dance music back on Party.
I really dunno what it is with Vic's aversion to trance. If he's afraid of european dance music he has no business being in "the business" IMO.
