Party FM sponsoring Beatstock in Long Island

According to PartyFM's Facebook page, they're promoting the Beatstock event in Long Island. Makes perfect sense for them to sponsor it, the event's in their backyard and they had their own concert for 10 years (MegaJam). Now that Beatstock isn't sponsored by their rival KTU, Party FM can now splash its name all over it.

Would be great if another radio station could sponsor the Beatstock at Six Flags.

Wired 96.5 in Philly is also heavily promoting the new Beatstock.

Also, looks like KTU has a separate event called "Identity" they're trying to replace Beatstock with. Doesn't quite have the lineup Beatstock has.

Just seems ironic that KTU's sponsoring IDentity which doesn't feature music central to KTU's "brand", but Beatstock continues to feature artists heard on KTU.

Now Beatstock is being feasted upon by many radio stations in the area. Beatstock 2011: Presented by Party FM, Pulse 87, Z88.9, and Wired 96.5!
