Hello -

The IMEEM uploads for B96 back in the 90's were great to listen to. It had been so long since I listened to B96 from back then I forgot about how great the station was back then. Does anyone have any other B96 audio from around 1992 to 1997 they could upload to IMEEM for everyone to take a listen?

Thanks in advance.

OK...I just uploaded one of my favorite airchecks of B96...this is from the afternoon of Saturday, January 27, 1996.

If I recall correctly...I was spending the weekend at my aunt's house in Dowagiac, MI (I was attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI that year) and that's where I recorded this.

Do you have a preference on hearing regular-rotation airchecks (such as this one) or mix shows? I have a decent collection of both...let me know.

WOW! That was great. Regular rotation would be great. Also, I used to listen to the Street Flava on Sundays. Thanks again!!! Anything is appreciated!

Great mixes. Does anyone also have anything from when B96 went from Party Radio to Chicago's Dance Beat? I remember in I think it was October of 96 when they ran "Chicago's Dance Beat Party Radio B96" sweepers. Thank you to everyone for what has been posted. Was fun to listen.

I have a few airchecks from the Chicagos dance beat era,, a few songs include Dario G-SunChyne---Dont stop the Rock-Freestyle... Stars on 54-If you could read my mind... Ironically enough, when they changed to Chicagos Dance Beat they were actually moving away from the standard 90s Euro sound and was playing alot more Upeat Hip Hop, like Genuine-Pony.... Dru Hill-How deep is your Love.... all on this aircheck.. Im gonna have to figure this out... I have a full 90 minute TDK cassete from 91 as the killer BEE era, with Latour-people are still having Sex, Musto and Bones-Dangerous on the Dancefloor,, InXS-need you tonight(Dance Rhythmic Version) Paula Abdule-Promise of a new day,,, Lindel Townsel-Nu Nu,,, Crystal Waters-Gypsy Woman (she'Homeless).... Corina-Temptation,, Tara Kemp-Hold you tight,, and Take a peace of my heart on the other side.... Stevie V-Dirty Cash.. Black Box-Strike it up... Cathy Dennis-Touch me all night long... To me, the best years of B-96 were from 90-93, but from 97-99 they phasing the Dance Out... Gimme a BBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--B 96 ..... Z95 and later called Hot 94.7,,, Hot 102.3 in the North burbs, and WBUS 99.9 The Bus were all dance friendly and trying to out dance B-96 at the time.
