We have 26 people who say they plan to come. Since not everyone will show and people will be coming and going, we can accommodate at least 5 more. So if anyone else wants to come, email me at [email protected].

And to those who are coming, the party is free, but any food or drinks will of course need to be purchased. So if you plan to order food, please bring cash. They're giving us only one check...and I think that's coming to me. Thanks and look forward to seeing everyone.

Look for me unless it's still raining. I ain't doing a hundred mile lap in the wet unless someone is paying me.

Have y'all thought of doing "Name That Song" at the party? Just read a song lyric, and give away drinks to anyone who can name the artist, song, and year of the song.

I believe that's John Mellencamp, while he was still Cougarized, off of "Scarecrow" in 1985. It's been on several greatest hits since then. I'll have a top shelf mojito please ;)
 
Inside, today is your lucky day I will not be going. Family stuff and a work trip tomorrow a.m. I will be back next week with a full and fascinating analysis of the San Diego radio scene.

Plus I was concerned Deadman might arrange for Sean Demery's goons to knock me off. I thought about going as someone else's name just to protect myself and wear a Morning X big shirt signed by Sean Demery just to throw you guys off my trail.

MEmo to anyone on the Dave FM staff. Perhaps you should arrange a meet and greet at the party tonight with Sweet Baby Jane. Let her know a cold cut platter is being provided.

Damn... Foiled again. RTIBBS - I did speak to Margot at DAVE-FM and apologized for saying the DAVE-FM staff should have been fired to being in FREE-FM. Yep I admitted to stupidity and was blinded by the Joel Hollendar at CBS. It did get me an audience with the former president of CBS radio.
 
ok, so definitely a lot of history to this group that I'll need to learn. Is there a flow chart of some kind that I can study over the next few hours?

Not true as it turned out. The very sexy voice of SeptemberDay showed, sadly she was accompanied by a limey who supports Man U.
