PartyFM satellite simulcast issue?

Listening today, I keep hearing stutter pauses like if it's losing reception for a millisecond, usually this type of pause happens on satellite. Doesnt simulcasts now run on T1 or still satellite?
 
If it's satellite, there would be a 1/4 second delay between 105.3/101.5 and 87.7. Can anyone on Long Island with 2 radios confirm that?

Yes, about 1/2 second or so delay between 101.5 and 87.7
 
satellite simulcast O up on which one have to try fine that out , on to my boy in NJ how sat junke and get to scan
 
Why not just use a T1 link from Ronkonkoma to Queens? Or receive 101.5 over the air at the top of the big blue building, and simulcast it on 87.7. Oh, nevermind about translating 101.5 over the air, who knows when a pirate station may pop up on 101.5 and block reception of W268AN.

You mean there isn't a pirate on 101.5 already? Quick, fire up the transmitter! ;D
 
They are using cable technology but are in the process of upgrading some of the equiptment. Everything should be running smoothly shortly if it isn't already.
