Just read that WEOA, an Urban AC in Evansville picked up hockey. They will air the pre-game, post game and specialty shows.

Are they on crack? An Urban AC airing hockey broadcasts? "Coming up this hour, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker and Iceman hockey. Keep it here" LOL!!!!!
 
And yet its the hockey team that really lost out. WEOA has the privilege of being a graveyard station, and really only covers half of the city of Evansville at night. Nearly all of the hockey games (if not all of them) start at 7pm.

By the way, WEOA has aired the IU radio network for a number of years.
