Passing of Drew Rashbaum

I worked for Drew at "The Point" for a brief time while I was very green. I had little contact with him, but something he did stuck out to me and stayed with me my whole career.

The station had expanded it's sales pit and was moving lots of stuff into it. Someone was trying to move a heavy file cabinet and was having trouble. Drew, the General Manager, was the first to come over and start helping this person who was struggling with the very heavy object. He stepped up to do the heavy lifting, literally.

It taught me that your status is never an excuse to opt out of helping with the little stuff.

R.I.P. Drew.

I met Drew in the Susquehanna days of the Sarasota's 102.5 FM The Music Wave era and before. He was a very fair boss who coached me very well in sales and learning to listen. I thank him for that opportunity.. which lead to many years of sales success later.
