Passing of Ron Sailor

I believe he also owned WIGO/1340 in the mid-nineties when it was a talk station, and served as a talk show host. When he lost the station, he tried to block the transmitter shack to keep the Dickey family, which was taking it over, from getting access. He soon turned up as morning newscaster on WALR-FM, then owned by the Dickeys.
